Although the site lacks the Web 2.0 glossy simplistic look of modern guides, it gets the job done. It lets you sort web hosts in almost any way – by cost, services offered, going in to quite a bit of detail when you try out advanced search.
The learning center is also a pretty useful part of the bundle, especially if this is your first jump into the world of hosting. Covering basic terms and hosting lingo, it helps one get the most out of the custom searches offered.
The thing I really like about this site – no ads. None at all. There is one reseller link to Host Gator but that’s hardly noticeable.
In conclusion, although lacking the modern slickness (and web 2.0 jazz) of today’s new startups, Web Hosting Choice is a great site for anyone who needs help, advice and comparisons on the thousands of hosts out there, without the ads.
