I like the stark mood of this shot. It's fitting for the way you feel. I think I might have tried to remove some more of the background to make it totally black and devoid of details.
I really hate to hear that you are feeling so overwhelmed...you are too young to be feeling so burdened. Try to make some time to just relax and refresh.

The single light source works really well and I especially enjoy the shadow of the chair. I may have liked to see whatever it is in the background to the left of the post darkened. It's distracting that I don't know what it is and it doesn't add anything to the image. Otherwise, a great, grungy shot!
One of your best of the recent shots. This is one of your experimental photos that works. Excellent color, detail and composition. I won't lie...the central composition is very attractive. Cheers, Brent
