Cityscape | Mellow

PREVIOUS | CURRENT | NEXT

I have no explanation for the title of this one. It just feels Mellow. For some reason, a big noisy storm hit Cuffe Parade (Mumbai, India) just about now. It just suddenly appeared and now we have thunder and lightning and all that in the middle of November. All I'm hoping for is that somehow this results in school being closed tomorrow, havn't got much sleep as Mom came back at 5 in the morning so I only slept at 7. And I have project work due. Life.

Can't really help it Shiv...I would obviously be doing better if I was a full time photographer but with School breathing down my neck it's getting hard to keep everything going.

I dig this shot--very powerful. Doesn't feel mellow to me, but then again it doesn't have to either. The clouds are really dramatic, and the buildings really stick out here. Nice work. I hope you do get school off tomorrow. Always a nice treat! ;)

In context of what you are trying to achioeve and with the title, I am loving this shot to bits, I fill you have got it right, just the right areas darkened and the right areas lightened, it leads to a very dramtic image. Liking this even more with every veiw.

Nice to hear that your mom is back.

School work is definitely much more important than photography.

I like the shot, some areas do seem a bit dark, but overall it's a powerful dramatic image.

I love the lighting, the contrast it creates is just beautiful. Also, the similarity between the buildings is interesting. They all seem the same. Cool shot.

maybe the contrast is a little too harsh, but nonetheless, this shot is very impressive!
